How billing and tokens work
What upgrading gets you
Paid plans give you more monthly tokens, more published sites, custom domains and fuller analytics — so your projects can grow without limits getting in the way.
Token allowance
Your full monthly allowance is credited when you subscribe or renew, and your balance also regenerates daily (1/30th of your allowance per day, capped at the allowance) — so you're never stranded if you burn through everything in one day. The Free plan is topped back up to 2M tokens every month.
Billing
Monthly subscriptions in ZAR via Paystack. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades at the end of the current billing period. Your sites are never deleted on downgrade.

Pricing questions, answered
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes — it's R0 with hosting included and no credit card required. You get 2 million AI tokens a month and one published site, live on a Zumino subdomain. To help keep it free, we reserve the right to display adverts on Free plan sites.
Are there adverts on the Free plan?
There may be. As the platform owner, Zumino reserves the right to display adverts on sites published on the Free plan. Upgrading to a paid plan removes any Zumino-placed adverts.
What happens when I run out of tokens?
Your balance regenerates daily (1/30th of your allowance per day, capped at the allowance), so you're never stranded, and if you're fully out, AI features may continue in a reduced capacity rather than stopping entirely.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes — on the Hobby and Pro plans you can connect a custom domain, with SSL handled automatically via Cloudflare. Free plan sites are hosted on a Zumino subdomain.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel or downgrade whenever you like from the billing page. The change takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your sites are never deleted on downgrade.
What currency do you charge in?
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). You'll never see USD.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed securely by Paystack, including major debit and credit cards for South African customers. Zumino never sees or stores your full card details.
